Helping Beyond the Storm (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a faith-based nonprofit organization based in Hickory, North Carolina. We collect very little. This website does not require you to create an account, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone, ever. The only information we receive is what you choose to give us:
- Contact details — if you call, text, message us, or email us, we’ll have whatever information you provide (such as your name, phone number, or email) so we can respond and help.
- Donations — when you donate, you are taken to a third-party platform (PayPal). Any payment details you enter are handled directly by that platform under its own privacy policy. We do not see or store your card or banking information.
How we use your information
We use the information you share only to:
- Respond to your questions and requests for help.
- Coordinate donations, volunteering, and the delivery of aid.
- Keep you updated about our work, if you’ve asked us to.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking. We do not run analytics or marketing pixels at this time. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and let you know.
Third-party services
When you click “Donate,” you leave our website and are directed to PayPal, which processes donations and protects your payment information under its own terms and privacy policy. Our social media links take you to Facebook and Instagram, which are governed by their own policies.
Children’s privacy
Our website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

You can reach out anytime to ask what information we have, to update it, or to ask us to remove it. We’ll do our best to honor every reasonable request.
