Welcome to the Helping Beyond the Storm website. By using this site, you agree to the following terms. We’ve kept them short and plain.
About our organization
Helping Beyond the Storm is a faith-based community nonprofit based in Hickory, North Carolina. We are working toward formal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, but that status is not yet finalized. Until it is confirmed, donations should not be considered tax-deductible. We will update this page and notify our community once our 501(c)(3) status is in place.
Donations
When you click “Donate,” you are directed to a third-party fundraising platform (PayPal), which securely processes your gift. We are grateful for every contribution and do our best to use donations to cover essential supplies, meals, mattresses, building costs, and transportation to deliver aid to those in need. Donations are voluntary and generally non-refundable; if you believe a gift was made in error, please contact us and we’ll do our best to help.
Use of this website
The information on this site is provided in good faith for general informational purposes. While we strive to keep it accurate and up to date, we make no guarantees that everything is complete or error-free. Photos on this site may include illustrative images that represent the kind of work we do.
